This is an audio recap of me staying home, working on my math homework at around 11pm. I could literally hear my clock shaking against the wall. :censored_sg:
(Hum…this doesn’t sound too bad on my lousy laptop speakers)
Oh, by the way, it came from the restaurant downstairs. Can I complain if it happens before 12am? :stress_kao:

Shoutouts to Jyouhouya-san, gridskipper and Yahoo! Travel for referring international visitors to my site.
Out of the 541 unique visitors from last month, 37% of them used FireFox, which is very impressive! :coolsmile_ee:
I also noticed some hotlinking-photo-stealing actions from the log, more about that later. :kiss_ee:
It is just a matter of time before I switch to Flickr. Someone wrote a php script for migrating from Gallery. Now if Santa can get me a pro account for Christmas (and birthday)… (0)

I feel like I am running on a trackmill with the speed dial stuck at “youdie”. There are still lots of vocabularies and grammars that I need to cram for the JLPT exam (Dec 4). Given level 4 was pretty trivial, I did not have much trouble last year. This year… let’s just say I am nowhere close to finishing the 120 grammar structures and 1500 vocabs (Not to mention the upcoming midterms in the next two weeks). I should have taken Nihongo classes all year round, instead of just 3 months before the exam. :shuteye_ee: After the 9-month break, my current level of Japanese skills (especially listening) is probably lower than last year’s. Sometimes I am clueless about some basic Level 4 grammars, as if I have never seen them before. :snake_ee:
Resources:
wakan(link): Free and probably the best dictionary software for studying Japanese (and Chinese, too). It includes Kanji look up, editor, translator, dictionary and vocabulary list wizard. You can download the word example file to extend the dictionary. On the same site, you will also find vocabulary lists for JLPT Level 2-4. It is better than JquickTrans in many aspect, except it does not include a flashcard program.
JLPT Kanji Project (link): A very nicely done Kanji aid.
The JLPT Study Page (Level 3 and 4): Past questions, vocab lists..etc.
MLC Meguro Language Center (link): The ultimate resource for JLPT syllabuses and past exams. The vocab, kanji and grammar lists are updated every year.
Rikai (link): A FireFox plug-in for showing Furigana.
