MPEG-4

My videos are encoded in MPEG-4, and you can use the free and open-source VLC media player to view them. MPEG-4 is MPEG-4, it doesn’t have to be either xvid or divx. I guess this is as confusing as the word “podcasting” (you don’t need an ipod, and certainly not a video ipod to see a video podcast).
