A little trivia about “Shamisen”, the guitar/banjo-like instrument in the picture: The skin is usually from a dog or cat, but in the past a special type of paper was used and recently various types of plastics are being tried. On the skin of some of the best shamisen, the position of the cat’s nipples can be seen. (via wikipedia)

I got nominated last week as well, but the photo was so bad, it came in the last place.

GMail+Talk Weirdness

The live talk function of my GMail account comes and goes, not to mention I was one of the very last ones to get the service. I thought it had something to do with the locale of my browsers, but wait…

The talk function doesn’t not work with secured connection. I have always been logged in securely, because of my Firefox GMail notifier extension settings. Unchecking the option solved the problem. :cool_kao:
