I felt a noticeable difference when upgraded from 3.5Mbps to 5.0Mbps. But it’s not a significant enough reason to upgrade, since a jump from max download of, say, 250KB/s to 300+KB/s isn’t a big deal. At the time it was about the quota. 50GB was a lot more than 20GB. And for a family of 4 active computers (including 2 heavy downloaders), the upgrade was necessary.
Even then, we’re always pushing the 50+ MB limit. Now I’m sure we have nothing to worry about anymore. :-D
