I am going to do the Project 365 (+1 for Leap Year) in 2008.
Basically, you carry your camera with you and take a picture a day to document your life. The subject of the photos is up to you. Some people choose to do self-portraits (made famous by Noah Kalina). I will probably go with the untopiced route.
Anyone want to do it together and be my 365 buddy? I know this is kind of a late notice, but at least I am in a time zone ahead of most of yours (30 minutes till 2008 in Tokyo).

One of my New Year’s Resolutions is stop going to Japan, at least not more than once a year. Facebook is not helping.

Merry Christmas!
I guess no one expected me to blog about a trip that happened two months ago, but it would be a shame not to, as it marked one of my UPs in 2007. Most importantly, I am on my way to Tokyo(where else?) and I still have N more hours to kill before arrival.

WARNING: This is a rather long post. It is 9-hour flight to Tokyo, remember?

Back when me and my co-op peeps were doing nothing in Japan, I started a doodling board on my site and some people, like John, would draw the cutest thing on earth.

The board has been flooded with spam, but if you want to see all the drawings, here is the backdoor. I found a drawing via the backdoor that was never posted on the board. Who drew this? Based on its scandalicious nature, I bet Steve did it. If he didn’t , then it’s yet another spam.

For those who own a DS and a flash card:
There is a really cool homebrew doodling app called Colors!. Check out the community where people post their drawings. Cool, eh? Click on one of them to see the drawing in full size. The resolution of the touch pad is way higher than it looks. Here are some more amazing drawings.
What excites me the most is the WiFi email feature. I have been longing for a doodling plugin for WordPress. With Colors! I can just email my drawing directly from the DS to my WordPress blog.
Maybe we can start and share a WP blog where we post our drawings? Each person will get his/her own email address for submitting their drawings. This can be really fun. You don’t really need to know how to draw, I don’t.
