I Recommend Eat Drink Man Woman

Have you seen “Eat Drink Man Woman“? It’s a Taiwanese film directed by Ang Lee in 1994.
If you are remotely interested in Asian food, I can’t see why you won’t be interested in this film.
In my opinion, this is one of the best works of Ang Lee and it gives you a good idea what his pre-Hollywood style was like. I didn’t like any of his Hollywood stuff anyway.
P.S. The Hollywood remake is called “Tortilla Soup“. Watch it at your own risk. I never like remakes. “The Departed” sucks big time, hardcore.
Not suprisingly, I’ve seen that movie twice and I think it is fantastic.
Unlike Ben, I have not seen that movie… i shall make it a point to watch it soon.
