Today is 222, Cat Day!
There is something really nostalgic about MD’s. The fact that recording was so inconvenient (compare to MP3 players) made me not want to erase any songs. 10+ years later, I ended up with a stack of mini discs (they still look stylish, IMO) that documented what I liked over the years.
I randomly picked one today and I remembered listening to the same MD on the second day I arrived Japan for internship. I spent 45 minutes, with my headphones on, walking in between rice fields, looking for the magical green phone that allowed me to call home. Later I found out there was only one road that mattered in that small town.
