10 Gig vs. 16 Gig.
Happy Friday.
I am pretty sure caramel frappie and cake are key to keep me healthy and energized. I have be avoiding coffee, soda and sugar since I came back from vacation, and I feel exhausted constantly. Need dimsum. It is almost time for hotpot. Mooncake, anyone?
Speaking of user experience and iPhone alternatives, here is what the Samsung Omnia has to offer:

Impressive iPhone usability feature #374: Microphone button.
In call:
- Press once to answer a call
- Press twice to send the call to voice mail
- Press once to hang up a call
In call while second call coming in:
- Click once to switch to new call
- Hold to ignore new call
Out of call:
- Press once to play or pause song
- Press twice to skip to next song
Sad but true. Even today, there are still lots of people who would only look at the specs and additional features when they compare iPhone with the alternatives. The cost of running usability testing on this tiny button is way more than the adding another 10 Gig of memory. More features mean nothing if they aren’t made to stick.
I must have ranted about it too much, the traffic lights on all four sides were out of service today. I am in this photo.
Cambie construction rant again.
Two weeks ago, they decided to close one of the crosswalks in the intersection (this might be the 3rd time). I could not go to Tony’s Beef Noodle or Samurai Sushi, unless I walk one block east and jaywalk the very busy, four-laned 41st Ave. Last week, they put in a temporary crosswalk and hired housewives to stand there and show people where the crosswalk was. I guess those women just lost their jobs to a piece of duck tape.
Batman now #2. I feel like seeing it again, just so it has a chance to beat Titanic.
