This site receives forty spam comments everyday on average. Even though Akismet is installed to catch them, one or two of them still gets through and I need to delete them manually.
…and they make sushi out of spam in Hawaii.

Shoutouts to Jyouhouya-san, gridskipper and Yahoo! Travel for referring international visitors to my site.
Out of the 541 unique visitors from last month, 37% of them used FireFox, which is very impressive! :coolsmile_ee:
I also noticed some hotlinking-photo-stealing actions from the log, more about that later. :kiss_ee:

I have not updated this site for ages. I have photos to show and stories to tell, but I want to do them after I upgrade my laptop hard drive and reinstall my system. It is taking long than I anticipated, since the caddie I ordered two weeks ago has not arrived yet. I guess I have forgotten the rule of zero expectation for the North American postal services.
I decided I should not wait any longer, but then I found out the graphics toolkits (NetPBM and jhead) on my server have stopped functioning. I could not upload photos to my gallery! Tech support said they have disabled exec() for security issues, but if I need it they can transfer me onto another server. No wonder I have not had any success with installing Gallery G2. :grrr_ee:
Well, at least it was a prompt reply. :smirk_ee: Here is a little preview of what I was gonna blogged about:

I need to backup my website now, and hopefully it will survive in the server transfer process. Bye Bye.

The random photo block on the sidebar is my favourite part of the site.

What are the odds? :rasberry_ee: Around 0.000873.

I finally decided to put my site up, because I know if I don’t do it now, it will never happen. The reason why it took so long is because I often broke WordPress before I managed to post my first entry. :downer_ee:
I install WP twice on a weekly basis, since I am obsessed about getting the latest nightly builds (but that’s because they make it so easy). It has been more than a year since I first installed WP, I should learn how to make backups before hacking the code. Maybe I should write a script that does backups and upgrades automatically.
I’ll keep a log of the site updates on the changelog page. Let’s see how long this one lasts!
